Once again Rick organised for us to play in Avondale GC's Medley Team Shotgun competition as well as the much more prestigious SMERGS Avondale Medal. We started on holes 8 and 9.

Unlike last year we skipped the Club Competition and played our event in the normal way.
Handicaps were adjusted by adding 3 shots for those under 20 and 4 for everyone else.  No slope adjustment was required.
The team event was the best 2 scores multiplied to simplify things (Provided you remembered to do it).
The TD managed to win his own event after a 10 year drought.  Alan O’D made a gallant attempt to retain the Medal but lack of handicap left him in second place.
