The Killara Occasional Cup
Killara Golf Club
Thursday 22nd February, 2026
The Event
A great day for golf. The weather was good. Pace of play was fast.
Nine players. Two visitors: Steve Penny and Nigel Barrett.
Peter Thornton won the 2026 Killara Occasional Cup on 38 points, using adjusted official Smergs handicaps (plus 3 for 20 and over, and plus 2 under)
Steve Figgis won the front nine and Tim Becker won the back nine. (Apologies Steve. I made a mistake with the summary sheet and at the presentation.)
Thanks to all for playing (and to
Ken for organising!
