The Event

Rules for the day:
  • Three boxed balls entry
  • Smergs handicaps
  • Play off white tees
  • No gimmes
  • NTP 8 and 11
  • Longest Drive 10
  • Usual prizes:  overall, front/back nine and loss of shots
  • Survival team prize, best survival ball (C/B) score, played in handicap order
  • Overall team prize decided by best score first 6 holes, best 2 scores next 6 holes, best 3 scores last 6

The play: 
Perfect winters day, happy kangaroos and geese, and a course in great condition except the greens were sooo fast!  10 shots added to all handicaps last Monday led to respectable looking scores by most.  Neil was a clear winner. Back nine winner was chosen by a dodgy Lowndes countback method and all left with smiles on faces.  We'll be back next year!
